We have started construction of a segmented retaining wall on a project in Asheville, N.C. The blocks used in this type of wall are not as big as the ones used in the redirock walls and can be handled by hand instead of machine. On this particular project we are having to tie into two existing walls with an average height of six to twelve feet, remove some portions of the walls and construct the new ones to the lines and grades designed by the civil engineer
